Jam Tarts
Super simple and you probably already have most of the ingredients in your cupboard.
I sometimes make the dough the night before so that it's two shorter tasks.
Pizza Scrolls
Very tasty and surprisingly easy to make but they went stale half way through the week which was a shame.
This recipe is for Hawaiian pizza but I just did it without the ham and pineapple.
Joe suggested adding some onion powder if you wanted to make it taste even more like the Tesco ones!
Banana Bread
Mary Berry is the only person I trust to give me a good banana bread recipe.
Also lasts all week in some tupperware.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies take a little more effort than your basic chocolate chip cookie but holy heck it is so worth the effort if you can! (If you can't go to all that effort, then I would recommend putting a little salt on top of them just before they go in the oven.
I sometimes save half the dough in the fridge so I can bake it later in the week.
Oat and Raisin Cookies
I made these when the Joes requested slightly healthier lunch box treats. They were very pleased when I made these.
Another recipe that saves raw in the fridge great if you want to bake more fresh later in the week!
Blueberry Muffins
I would recommend poking the blueberries into the batter once you've decanted it into the cases so that you can guarantee a more consistent number of blueberries in each muffin.
Also, Joe suggested doing this recipe with raspberries instead of blueberries
Traybake Cake Thingy
Joe requested a tray bake and insisted that 'tray bake' referred to a specific thing rather than anything that is baked in a tray.
I made it without the coconut.
Cornflake Cakes
(apologies for not having my own photo!)
These are so easy and so tasty and they're perfect for lunchboxes. I like them with mini marshmallows mixed in
