Mashed Potato

Goes great with: Joe’s Easy Pie, Eleanor’s Garlic Broccoli, or do my mum’s classic of just combing it with cheese and beans.

Ingredients:
Maris piper potatoes
Lurpak butter
How to make:
Peel the potatoes and chop them into chunks of similar sizes.
Rinse them, then boil for 15 to 20 mins.
Stab a potato with a sharp knife and if it’s soft, drain them and prepare to mash.
Give it a good mash, then dollop in a generous spoonful of butter.
Mix vigorously and enjoy.
